Sensor Technology is located on the metropolitan region of São Paulo, Brazil. Founded on 1989, back then as a Heraeus Holding’s company, one of the largest private companies of Germany. On March 2011, Sensor Technology became an independent company, keeping its excellence the quality of service and products and all the know-how acquired in more than 100 years of experience in temperature sensors.
The number one business of The Sensor Technology is the Platinum Temperature Sensors Production - RTDs (Resistance Temperature Detector) based on CWW (Ceramic Wire Wound) technology, as well as research and development of other types of sensors and micro-heaters.
As a leader in the global market of RTD temperature sensors with CWW technology, our company also performs as a retailer of Platinum Thin Film temperature sensors, noble metal thermocouple wires and quartz products, such as tubes, plates, profiles, ingots and bars.
Considered a company without borders, Sensor Technology exports innovation and technical solutions to over 40 countries located on Europe, Americas, Asia, Africa and Australia.

OUR HISTORY
1989
The RTD Division of Heraeus Electro-Nite Brasil is created. "Projekt 2000" (CWW RTD manufacturing) kick-off.
2011
The Heraeus Group MBO process is completed. The company becomes Sensor Technology Ltda.
1999

The RTD Division becomes an independent legal entity. The company Heraeus Sensor-Nite Brazil is established.
The company changes its name to Heraeus Sensor Technology Ltda.
The HST Brasil Calibration Laboratory is created.
2005
Develops and produces the SP-H01 Platinum Reference Thermometer.
2012
2018
Entered the world market of slot sensors for large generators and electric motors up to 3m in length.
Develops and launches the EW element in the global market. This element can be used as a micro heater, as well as an extremely accurate temperature sensor in air and gas flow meter electronics.
2019
Start of supply of noble thermocouple wires of types R, S and B in the national and international market.
2022
Certification of the Environmental Management System by the ISO 14001 Standard.
2006
Develops mini PRTD elements (0.8 and 0.5 mm in diameter) at HST Brazil.
